Hydrogen is an extraordinary promise, but today it’s a logistical nightmare.

Hydralium is the missing link in the energy transition: Hydralium makes it possible to solidify intermittent energy. By transforming wind or solar electricity into a stable metallic alloy, we create a zero-leakage, zero-pressure energy carrier that can be stored indefinitely..

Hydrogen (whether green, white, gray, etc.) is at the heart of all hopes, but it remains the molecule of all challenges. To use it, it must be compressed to extreme pressures of 700 bar, an energy-intensive process that consumes up to 15% of its own energy content. Its transport and handling impose constant risks of explosion and stringent ATEX regulations.

The worst part remains invisible: hydrogen is the smallest molecule in the universe. It escapes from all reservoirs through simple permeation. These leaks are not insignificant: they generate an indirect greenhouse effect 11 times more powerful than CO2, undermining our climate efforts. Furthermore, its direct contact with metals causes severe and irreversible embrittlement, potentially reducing the ductility of metal reservoirs by up to 90% and leading to delayed cracking of the metal.

The Breakthrough: Hydralium (only green) What if we could harness the full power of hydrogen, without any of its dangers? Contained in approximately 10 liters of water, 1 kg of extracted hydrogen allows a fuel cell car to travel about 100 km. Hydralium is not a compressed gas; it does not contain hydrogen. It is a disruptive innovation that eliminates the three historical barriers to the energy transition:

Total Safety: Unlike conventional hydrogen, Hydralium is inherently inert. No explosiveness, no spontaneous combustion. It’s the energy of serenity: hydrogen is produced only on demand, directly at the point of consumption, without intermediate pressurized storage..

Unlimited and Unrestricted Storage: No more expensive armored tanks or fears of metal degradation. Hydralium is stored at ambient pressure and does not degrade. You can keep it for years without losing a single Joule..

Zero Loss, Zero Pollution: Where conventional hydrogen evaporates and leaks continuously, Hydralium remains stable. We are no longer handling a volatile and leaky gas, but a perfectly controlled energy carrier. In the current context of high energy tensions, neglecting this source of production—guaranteeing our energy independence—would be detrimental to our economies.

Hydralium represents an alternative path that now needs to be tested and prototyped. Based on a technical dossier that, while theoretical, is already quite thorough, I am now seeking an industrial partner to establish a validation protocol and move from theory to concrete demonstration. With Hydralium, we are not just changing fuels, we are changing paradigms: power, safety, and sustainability are finally combined.

In short: Hydralium is the peaceful little brother of a well-known, benchmark fuel: it retains all its power, but has lost all its danger.
